Jim Jim Falls Jim Jim Falls can't be accessed by road during the height of the wet season, when the water flow is at its greatest. We were among the first to reach the falls when the access road was reopened that season. There was still a substantial flow to be enjoyed by the end of the dry season. Some years Jim Jim Falls stops flowing. For the more energetic, a walk to the top of the falls is very rewarding. Here, a smaller fall drops into a pleasant plunge pool before the waters continue over some rock slabs to drop over the big one. Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory. |
